TOUCHDOWN CLUB OF HOUSTON GOLF TOURNAMENT HONORING JACOB GREEN

Former Texas A&M All-American Jacob Green will be honored with a golf tournament for his 2019 induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. The Touchdown Club of Houston event is sponsored by Opportune and Montelongo’s Fine Jewelry, and will be at 10 a.m., Thurs., June 6, at Wildcat Golf Club, 12000 Almeda Road. Cost is $1,400 per foursome.

Each foursome will have an A&M Hall of Famer play with them for five players in each group.

There will be a 4 p.m. reception after the golf tournament at the Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road, about 10 minutes from Wildcat, to meet Green and the other A&M Hall of Famers, and get autographs. You do not have to play golf to attend the reception. Cost for the reception is $50 per person. The reception will be set up like a football tailgate, where there will be tables with BBQ, fried chicken, beer, alcohol, oysters, Mexican food, Blue Bell ice cream, and so on.  You will be able to talk to the Hall of Fame players at the reception and get their autographs, again, even if you do not play in the golf tournament.
