The Organization

Since being chartered by the Association of Former Students in 1923, the Houston A&M Club has carried the distinction of being the AFS' largest club in the world and the first club to join the list of distinguished million-dollar donors who continue to give back to Texas A&M University. The Houston A&M Club is governed by a Board of Directors and Bylaws. The Houston A&M Club is a 501(c)(3) organization. The Federal Employer Identification Number is 76-0157418.

Leadership

The Directors, Officers, Committee Chairs and Advisors form the Leadership of the Houston A&M Club. These enthusiastic volunteers work together to achieve the Mission of the Club. The Directors and Officers are elected each year by the Club's members at its Annual Meeting of the Members.

The Officers are President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Secretary,Treasurer, VP for Membership, VP for Activities, VP for Public Relations, VP for Community Relations and the VP for Corporate Development. The Board includes 5 Officers: President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Secretary, Immediate Past President and 10 Directors. The term of each Officer position is one calendar year. The 10 Directors serve staggered three calendar year terms.
